Red Velvet Romance: An Italian-inspired wedding editorial at The Studio Stable, Byron Bay
Step into a world of deep romance, rich textures, and timeless elegance with our latest wedding editorial—a Red Velvet-inspired dream with an Italian twist. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of The Studio Stable in Byron Bay, this styled shoot is a celebration of love, passion, and old-world European charm.

A Palette of Deep Reds and Luxe Textures
Drawing inspiration from the decadence of red velvet, our colour palette was an intoxicating mix of deep crimson, softened with touches of orange in the flowers. These hues were woven into every detail, from the bride’s statement gown by The Blushery to the tablescape curated by Vows and Things, signage and custom designed stationery brought to life by Honey & Hive Designs.

The Fashion: Classic glamour meets modern elegance
The bride stunned in an elegant satin gown designed by The Blushery, complimented by tulle gloves and a long veil with red statement heals. Her look was completed with soft, romantic waves, a delicate golden and dramatic makeup perfectly created by the dynamic duo: Antoinette Makeup Artist and Hair by Harmony Rose. The groom, embodying Italian refinement, wore a tailored black suit with a classic silk bowtie, his look effortlessly complementing the whole aesthetic.

A Taste of Italy
A classic 1960’s Alfa Romeo was a must-have to complete the Italian look and feel of the shoot provided by Classic Car Market. Picture this: all the elements of the colours, shoot and couple coming together around European classic car – it doesn’t get much better than that!
No Italian-inspired wedding is complete without a nod to its culinary heritage. The cake created by Cremeble was it’s own masterpiece – beautifully designed complete with ruffles, tucks and red flowers to match the red velvet backdrop. A decadent grazing table created by Summer Woods Co. overflowed with gold encrusted vegan treats, with vintage crystal glasses filled to the brim with chocolate mousse – the perfect romantic indulgence.

Florals: A lush, romantic affair
Floral arrangements were designed by the talented Laceleaf Floral to feel abundant, yet natural, featuring an array of roses, dahlias, and dried hydrangeas in varying shades of red and cream.

The Venue: The Studio Stable, Byron Bay
With its clean lines, textured walls, and soft, natural lighting indoors and the lanscaped outdoor area with the climbing vines and cobblestones, The Studio Stable was the perfect canvas for our vision. The contrast of modern minimalism with the richness of the colours and styling elements created an atmosphere that was both striking and intimate.
The onsite accommodation with a view over the bubbling river below as a calming space for the bride and groom to get ready and would make the perfect honeymoon hideaway.
The Stable Studio also comes with a resident Celebrant and venue manager Britt from Happy Days Weddings to complete the occasion.

Bringing the vibes
DJ Helen from Red Seven Group Entertainment brought all of the fun and good vibes with her talent behind the turntable. Good beats and fun tunes = great vibes for the entire shoot which reflected in the photos.
